WR/PR Tavarres King, Georgia

Broncos, 5th round. Ga.: Adequate size. Average hand size.

Positives: Hands catcher and extends well. Above-average quickness. Above-average speed. Above-average routes with good double moves. Above-average acceleration. Nice concentration, even when he knows a hit is coming. Adjusts fairly well to off-target passes. Tracks well. Nimble on sidelines. Makes good decisions on punt returns. Adequate athleticism in Combine measurements.

Negatives: Falls often after the catch. Lacks physicality against press coverage and tries to finesse. Below-average upper-body strength.

Projection: On Broncos, I don’t expect him to start over Demaryius Thomas or Eric Decker, but could back up either of them. Should do well if he gets a chance to start, though, and he should have a solid NFL career. Draft as an immediate WR5 but a potential WR2.

RB Zac Stacy, Vanderbilt

Rams, 5th round. Vanderbilt: Short for the position, but adequate bulk. Below-average hand size.

Positives: Fair agility and spin move. Adequate track speed. Above-average speed and burst. Above-average power — keeps legs churning through contact and breaks arm tackles. Finishes runs aggressively. Though seldom showing it in games, he showed very good change-of-direction ability at Combine. Very patient. Fair cutback vision. Good upper-body strength. Good run blocker downfield. Is versatile — was also Vanderbilt’s Wildcat QB.

Negatives: Below-average ball security — needs to protect ball through line. Runs a little upright. Needs to be more decisive in short yardage situations. Needs to attack line more decisively to take advantage of his power. Dances too often behind line. Not very creative or elusive and seems unwilling to change directions. Suspect balance making cuts. Below-average hands when extending.

Projection: Seems to be destined to be a backup on Rams. Will likely be Terrence Ganaway’s backup at the beginning. No need to draft, but has RB3 potential if he starts, which I think is doubtful.

TE Luke Willson, Rice

Seahawks, 5th round. Rice: Good height and adequate bulk. Average hand size.

Positives: Athletic — has been drafted by Blue Jays for baseball and the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL for football. Above-average routes. Fair run blocker when he can just drive straight ahead. Above-average hands catcher with soft hands that can extend.

Negatives: Had an injured ankle in 2012 that limited him. Below-average speed. Doesn’t slide well laterally while run blocking and will have trouble with quick rushers.

Projection: Will probably battle with Anthony McCoy for snaps but has the tools to win out and eventually be a solid starter in the league. No need to draft, but could eventually be a TE2.

RB Chris Thompson, Florida State

Redskins, 5th round. Fla. St.: Short for the position, but proportional bulk. Built more like a small WR than a RB.

Positives: Average hand size. Average upper-body strength.

Negatives: Broke back in 2011. Injured ACL late in 2012 when he was leading the team in rushing.

Projection: Honestly, I haven’t seen much of him to be able to give an opinion. I do know that he has a lot going against him. His 5’7” size is one. His injury history is another. And the fact that he has Alfred Morris, Evan Royster and Keiland Williams ahead of him is another. I’m guessing you don’t need to draft him, but with Mike Shanahan at the helm, this dude could end up leading the league in rushing. Keep an eye on him in preseason.

RB Joseph Randle, Oklahoma State

Cowboys, 5th round. Okla. St.: Junior who has declared for 2013 NFL Draft. Great height but below-average bulk — built more like a WR than a RB.

Positives: Good body lean. Above-average burst. Adequate track speed. Finishes runs strong. Good quickness numbers in pro day drills. Adequate overall athleticism.

Negatives: Doesn’t play up to his potential speed. Below-average speed and quickness. Not creative.

Projection: Joins a team with a muddled RB depth chart. Will compete with Chauncey Washington, Phillip Tanner and Lance Dunbar for backup positions. Will likely stick on a practice squad somewhere, but I don’t think there’s a need to draft him.

WR Kenny Stills, Oklahoma

Saints, 5th round. Okla.: Junior who has declared for 2013 NFL Draft. Son of former NFL safety Kenny Stills. Adequate size. Average hand size.

Positives: Very good track speed. Above-average hands and can extend. Fairly crisp routes. Above-average downfield blocker. Very nimble on sidelines with NFL-quality feet. Good concentration when he knows hit is coming. Adequate upper-body strength.

Negatives: Suspect concentration in clutchDropped one in end zone in 2012 bowl game. Below-average athleticism in Combine measurements. Character red flag — 2011 DUI arrest.

Projection: With as much as Drew Brees spreads the ball around, no target has been consistently productive outside of Jimmy Graham and Marques Colston. Stills is probably most like Lance Moore on the team, and could eventually be Moore’s replacement. Stills will also likely be behind Nick Toon, the second-year WR who was on IR last year. Definitely worth a late flyer, but there’s probably no need to draft. Keep an eye on his targets. If the numbers start to creep up, stash him.

WR/RB/QB Denard Robinson, Michigan

Jaguars, 5th round. Mich.: Slightly below-average size for a WR or RB. Short for a QB. Above-average hand size.

Positives: Comes out of a pro-style system. Accurate on timing patterns. Above-average speed. Fair accuracy on intermediate patterns. Adequate velocity when he gets set up. Willing to be physical — blocked 300-pound DT on end-around. Patient as a runner. Good vision. Protects ball well. Willing to finish runs with power. Adequate athleticism in Combine measurements.

Negatives: Fairly long windup. Below-average arm strength, and passes float considerably. Below-average deep accuracy. Throws into coverage often. Poor decisions — often just throws ball up. Injured nerves in right elbow in November and missed two games. Below-average hands and doesn’t have strong enough hands to reel in fast passes. Suspect balance making cuts and often slips. Being used as a returner in Senior Bowl practices but is misjudging a lot of kicks. Below-average routes and rounds off many and slips making cuts, but improved by pro day.

Projection: With their poor WR depth, Robinson may be able to sneak into some heavy rotation here. Joins Jordan Shipley and fellow rookie Ace Sanders in competition for slot WR targets and  may get used as an all-around athlete there. Since he’s so new to the WR position, I’d stay away from drafting him outside of very deep dynasty leagues, but keep an eye on him.

TE Levine Toilolo, Stanford

Falcons, 4th round. Stanford: Junior who has declared for 2013 NFL Draft. Large size.

Positives: Adequate hands. Adequate downfield blocker. Adequate track speed and overall athleticism.

Negatives: Tore ACL in 2010. Below-average upper-body strength. Has trouble getting low enough to block consistently. A little slow off of the line.

Projection: Will never be a Tony Gonzalez replacement, but is an adequate red-zone threat with his height that he can be a capable NFL tight end. Very little fantasy value in 2013, but could be a sneaky TD vulture and low-end TE2 eventually. But no need to draft.

FB/TE Kyle Juszczyk, Harvard

Ravens, 4th round. Harvard: Great size for a FB — nearly TE size. Average hand size.

Positives: Adequate hands. Good effort and second effort. Adequate blocker on edge. Good pass blocker as FB who shows good technique and base when he’s patient. Runs strong after contact and churns for extra yards. Adequate track speed for the size. Adequate upper-body strength.

Negatives: Tends to body catch. Below-average game speed. Below-average ball security in open field, where he doesn’t secure ball. Lunges toward defender at times as a pass blocker.

Projection: Is behind only the aging Vonta Leach at FB on Ravens and should make the roster as a combo FB and H-back. No need to draft unless he somehow becomes their starting TE, which is doubtful to me, since Ed Dickson and RFA Dennis Pitta are ahead of him there.

WR Quinton Patton, Louisiana Tech

49ers, 4th round. La. Tech: Above-average size. Average hand size.

Positives: Above-average speed and quickness. Hands catcher with good body control and concentration on contested passes. Above-average acceleration. Good sideline feet. Quick into breaks. Very quick feet. Willing and consistent downfield blocker.

Negatives: Doesn’t get consistent deep separation. Poor upper-body strength.

Projection: Will likely become a starter on 49ers fairly quickly, and should produce respectable numbers right away and get better with time. Draft as a 2013 WR5 with WR2 potential.
