RB Joseph Randle, Oklahoma State

Cowboys, 5th round. Okla. St.: Junior who has declared for 2013 NFL Draft. Great height but below-average bulk — built more like a WR than a RB.

Positives: Good body lean. Above-average burst. Adequate track speed. Finishes runs strong. Good quickness numbers in pro day drills. Adequate overall athleticism.

Negatives: Doesn’t play up to his potential speed. Below-average speed and quickness. Not creative.

Projection: Joins a team with a muddled RB depth chart. Will compete with Chauncey Washington, Phillip Tanner and Lance Dunbar for backup positions. Will likely stick on a practice squad somewhere, but I don’t think there’s a need to draft him.
