RB Chris Thompson, Florida State

Redskins, 5th round. Fla. St.: Short for the position, but proportional bulk. Built more like a small WR than a RB.

Positives: Average hand size. Average upper-body strength.

Negatives: Broke back in 2011. Injured ACL late in 2012 when he was leading the team in rushing.

Projection: Honestly, I haven’t seen much of him to be able to give an opinion. I do know that he has a lot going against him. His 5’7” size is one. His injury history is another. And the fact that he has Alfred Morris, Evan Royster and Keiland Williams ahead of him is another. I’m guessing you don’t need to draft him, but with Mike Shanahan at the helm, this dude could end up leading the league in rushing. Keep an eye on him in preseason.
