WR BJ Cunningham, Michigan State

Dolphins, 6th round. Mich. St.: Average size. Small hands.

Positives: Can also go up and extend for passes. Fairly strong after the catch. Good effort on errant passes. Average speed. Adjusts well to off-target passes. Was team’s leading receiver in 2010.

Negatives: Broke foot before 2010 bowl game. Inconsistent hands — ball gets slightly to body. Lacks crispness in routes and therefore struggles to separate from athletic corners. Below-average upper-body strength.

Projection: He should probably be around 7th on their depth chart right now, but the WRs ahead of him haven’t proven anything, either. Could certainly make the team as a depth WR, but not likely to be fantasy relevant.

WR Jeff Fuller, Texas A&M

Great size. Above-average hand size. Reminds me of Courtney Smith from 2011 Senior Bowl, who didn’t stick on NFL team in 2011.

Positives: Adjusts well to back-shoulder passes and errant passes. Fair routes. Good body control on sideline. Good after catch. Strong. Nice concentration. Above-average upper-body strength.

Negatives: Below-average quickness and has trouble getting off press coverage. Suspect hands — dropped a lot of passes in Senior Bowl practices and game. Suffered stress fracture in foot during Senior Bowl.

Projection: 6th round. May be better off switching to an H-back position, but has skills to stick on roster as bench WR. Not fantasy relevant.

WR Tim Benford, Tennessee Tech

Cowboys, UDFA. Tenn. Tech.: Slightly below-average size. Small hands. 49ers have shown interest.

Positives: Adequate speed and above-average acceleration. Adequate upper-body strength. Crisp routes and consistent separation. Above-average hands.

Negatives: Below-average tracking of passes over shoulder. Slightly volatile personality.

Projection: Probably fighting for last WR spot on team. Could do well as a slot WR in the NFL, but not likely to put up fantasy-relevant stats.

WR Darius Hanks, Alabama

Redskins, UDFA. Ala.: Average height, but below-average bulk. Above-average hand size. Chargers have shown interest.

Positives: Adjusts well to errant passes. Can hold ball with hit. Fights for yards. Adequate acceleration. Makes very quick cuts and is dangerous after the catch.

Negatives: Missed first 2 games of 2011 for obscure eligibility violation by team. Suspect balance and looked clumsy running Combine drills. Slightly contact-shy. Seems indecisive as KR. Below-average speed. Below-average upper-body strength.

Projection: Will probably battle Brandon Banks for returner duties, but is likely destined for a practice squad. I expect his best chance to come as a returner and bench WR, but not likely to put up fantasy-relevant numbers.

WR Kashif Moore, Connecticut

Bengals, UDFA. Conn.:

Positives: Good speed. Hands catcher. Can extend to snag passes away from frame. Athletic and adjusts well to ball. Very good acceleration off line. Very good change-of-direction skills. Above-average upper-body strength. Willing blocker.

Projection: Will compete for last WR spot on team, and may be better off going to some other team or on a practice squad. Has the talent to put up roster-worthy numbers on right roster, but won’t get that chance with Bengals.

WR Jerrell Jackson, Missouri

Average size and hand size.

Positives: Adequate speed. Strong upper body. Above-average quickness. Very athletic and has fair agility. Fair routes. Fights for yards. Takes hit and holds on. Can high-point passes at times.

Negatives: Has a balance issue making cuts. Doesn’t judge ball well and jumps for no reason to catch ball. Inconsistent hands — ball gets to body too often. Is easy to bring down. Not much of a blocker. Below-average quickness and usually rounds off routes.

Projection: Undrafted. Not likely to stick on a roster, but will get a camp invite.

WR Derek Moye, Penn State

Dolphins, UDFA. Penn. St.: Very good size, but has had trouble keeping adequate bulk. Small hands.

Positives: Above-average hands. Fairly long wingspan. Runs adequate routes — quick in and out of breaks. Adjusts very well to back-shoulder throws. Tracks passes fairly well over shoulders. Average speed. Good double moves. On kick-block team, as well.

Negatives: Needs to be more aware of distance from sidelines. Tends to not finish routes. Below-average acceleration. Hurt hamstring in Players Classic practices but was able to work out at Combine. Fairly weak upper body.

Projection: Goes to a team with a lot of uncertainty at WR, but he’s still probably around 12th on their depth chart. Does enough things well enough that he could stick on a team in a part-time role and special-teamer, though that may not be with Dolphins. Not likely to ever be fantasy relevant.

WR Jermaine Kearse, Washington

Seahawks, UDFA. Wash.: Average size. Above-average hand size.

Positives: Good hands catcher. Runs crisp routes. Above-average speed. Quick acceleration. Adequate upper-body strength.

Negatives: Kicked off team for 2011 season due to team issues and domestic violence charge, but later reinstated. Below-average skills in tracking passes over shoulder. Below-average change-of-direction skills after the catch.

Projection: Stuck at end of roster right now, and probably won’t make a roster except as a potential practice squadder.

WR Keshawn Martin, Michigan State

Texans, 4th round. Mich. St.: Slightly below-average size. Average hand size.

Positives: Good speed. Makes smart decisions in open field. Shows good concentration in traffic. Adequate routes and hands. Adequate quickness and change-of-direction skills.

Negatives: Easily brought down — weak lower body and below-average upper-body strength. Lacks concentration on easy passes.

Projection: Probably competing for last spot on WR depth chart, but should stick due to his relatively high draft status. May eventually put up WR4 numbers, but it’s not necessary to draft him.

WR Jarrett Boykin, Virginia Tech

Jaguars, UDFA. Va. Tech: Above-average size. Good hand size. On early NFLPA Bowl and Players Classic rosters, but not later ones.

Positives: Adequate hands and speed. Can extend well for passes away from body. Gives very good effort. Above-average downfield blocker. Fairly elusive.

Negatives: Questionable body control. Below-average upper-body strength and can be overpowered at line.

Projection: Has enough skills to stick on a roster, but not likely to be a starter. May compete with Brian Robiskie, Taylor Price, and Jarrett Dillard for last WR spot, but I think his best bet is on a practice squad. Not fantasy relevant, especially as a bench WR on the Jaguars offense.
