Kenny Lawler, WR, California – 2016

Seahawks, Round 7. Declared early for the 2016 NFL Draft.

Postseason events: NFL Combine.

Positives: Very good height and above-average bulk for the position. Great hand size. Runs pretty good routes and gets good depth at his comeback routes. Quick out of his breaks. Generally good hands and concentration and can highpoint and extend well. Concentrates pretty well when he knows a hit is coming. Fairly nimble and shows consistently good concentration on sideline catches. Can adjust to underthrown passes and will go to ground for low passes. Tracks fairly well over his inside shoulder and directly over his head. Good effort for off-target passes. Adequate track speed for his size.

Negatives: Not exceptionally fast for the position. Poor vertical leap and lower-body explosiveness in Combine drills, which improved to merely below average at pro day tests. Poor ability to change directions with burst in Combine drills.

Pre-Draft Projection: Undrafted free agent.
