Roger Lewis, WR, Bowling Green – 2016

Declared early for the 2016 NFL Draft.

Postseason events: NFL Combine.

Positives: Adequate height and above-average bulk for the position, with above-average hand size. Runs with above-average speed and acceleration. Is quick off the line to get past press coverage. Generally above-average hands, and this carried over to the gauntlet drill during the NFL Combine. Extended pretty well on sideline catches at the Combine. Gives good effort for off-target passes and will lay out. Adjusts pretty well to passes thrown behind him on the move. Above-average downfield blocker who stays with his defender. Adequate track speed for the position. Adequate vertical leap and lower-body explosiveness in pro day measurements.

Negatives: Though his hands are above average, they are inconsistent and he will drop some easy ones and double clutch. Needs to go up for the ball on contested passes and not wait for it to get to him. Below-average tracking of passes over his inside shoulder. Poor upper-body strength.

Projection: Round 4.
