Cayleb Jones, WR, Arizona – 2016

Former transfer from Texas. Declared early for the 2016 NFL Draft.

Postseason events: NFL Combine.

Positives: Good height and above-average bulk for the position. Adequate hand size. Seems to run pretty good routes and is quick into and out of his breaks. Stays in motion to help quarterback under pressure. Generally above-average hands – extends well for passes high and away. Can catch the ball falling out of bounds and gives very good effort for off-target passes. Shows some creativity after the catch.

Negatives: Inconsistent concentration in general – will turn upfield before the catch and will have trouble with contested passes. Also dropped a pass on slant pattern he should have come down with in 2015 bowl game. Will sometimes let the ball come to him on deep passes when he should attack the ball in the air. Below-average tracking over his inside shoulder. Below-average track speed for the position. Below-average vertical leap for the position. Below-average ability to change directions with burst in Combine drills. Poor upper-body strength. Charged with aggravated assault in March 2013.

Projection: Undrafted free agent.
