Johnny Holton, WR/KR/PR, Cincinnati – 2016

Raiders, UDFA.

Postseason events: NFL Combine.

Positives: Adequate height and bulk for the position. Above-average hand size. Runs with adequate game speed and track speed for the position. Able to extend slightly for passes away from his body, and extended pretty well on sideline drills at Combine. Fair downfield blocker. Adequate lower-body explosiveness in Combine drills.

Negatives: Generally inconsistent hands and sometimes seems to fight the ball and double clutch. Doesn’t get very good positioning in jump-ball situations. Below-average decisions as a punt returner and will reverse field, losing yards. Below-average ball security and will hold the ball away from his body going through traffic. Long strider who looks like he may have trouble changing directions. Hesitant on kick returns and is slow to change directions. Poor vertical leap for the position. Poor upper-body strength.

Projection: Undrafted free agent.
