Daniel Braverman, WR/PR/KR, Western Michigan – 2016

Bears, Round 7. Declared early for the 2016 NFL Draft.

Positives: Runs with above-average speed and acceleration. Fair concentration when a hit is coming. Good open field vision and above-average quickness for yards after the catch or after receiving a punt. Adequate downfield blocker. Sets up in position well to receive punts. Adequate track speed for the position. Adequate quickness side to side and when accelerating out of cuts in his pro day measurements.

Negatives: Below-average height and slight build for the position. Needs to get better depth on third down routes. Has inconsistent hands and has a hard time coming down with passes in the rain. Suspect decision making on kick returns and will bring the ball out of the end zone. Below-average punt return fielding decisions and will let the ball bounce when he should just fair catch it. Poor vertical leap and broad jump at his pro day measurements. Weak upper body.

Pre-Draft Projection: Round 5.
