Tajae Sharp, WR, Massachusetts – 2016

Titans, Round 5.

Postseason events: NFL Combine and Shrine Game.

Positives: Good height for the position. Good quickness off the line. Tracks passes well over his inside shoulder. Good effort for off-target passes and will lay himself out. Has soft, natural looking hands and can extend pretty consistently. Adequate track speed for his size. Pretty effective gunner on the punt team.

Negatives: Slightly below-average bulk for the position – lanky build. Below-average hand size. Below-average vertical leap for the position. Poor lower-body explosiveness in Combine drills. Below-average upper-body strength.

Pre-Draft Projection: Round 7. The only time I saw Sharp was during Shrine Game practices and the Combine, since Massachusetts football doesn’t get a lot of air time, so this is an incomplete report on him..
