Jordan Thompson, WR/PR, West Virginia – 2016

Positives: Generally good receiving hands and can adjust and extend well. Runs with above-average speed, acceleration, and quickness. Comes back toward quarterback to get separation and attack passes in the air. Concentrates very well on contested passes and has body control to catch a pass while being interfered with. Nimble on the sidelines. Willing to go over the middle and take a hit. Keeps his legs churning after contact for extra yards. Is a willing downfield blocker. Makes smart punt return fielding decisions.

Negatives: Small for the position. Doesn’t field punts consistently cleanly. Slowed by an ankle injury in early 2014 season. While a willing blocker, he isn’t strong enough to do much more than get in the way.

Projection: Round 7-undrafted free agent.
