Marshaun Coprich, RB, Illinois State-FCS – 2016

Postseason Events: NFL Combine.

Positives: Though he lacks size for the position, he is built proportionally. Patient behind the line. Runs pretty suddenly and decisively with above-average burst. Above-average lateral quickness and open field vision and is difficult to get a hold of in the open field. Pretty good second effort. Finishes runs strong and lowers his shoulder into contact. Above-average balance after contact. Okay hands. Above-average track speed. Very good vertical leap. Led the FCS in yards and touchdowns in 2014. Good ability to change directions with burst in pro day tests.

Negatives: Short for the position, with below-average bulk and hand size. Suspect balance making cuts. Maybe runs a little bit top-heavy through the line at times. Below-average broad jump. Poor lateral quickness in pro day tests. Below-average upper body strength. Charged with marijuana distribution in May 2015 and suspended from team but was reinstated immediately after his court date.

Projection: Undrafted free agent.
