Da’Ron Brown, WR, Northern Illinois – 2015

Was a redshirt senior.

All-Star Games: Shrine Game.

Positives: Has adequate height and above-average bulk for the position, with great hand size. Runs with adequate speed and shows fair acceleration out of his cuts. Generally good hands and can extend well and consistently and falling out of bounds on the sidelines. Nimble on the sidelines. Fairly decisive as a runner and has nice acceleration after the catch. Willing to fight for extra yards. Nice downfield blocker.

Negatives: Inconsistent concentration in traffic and will drop some easy passes. Below-average body control on off-target passes and has a hard time reaching passes thrown behind him. Below-average routes and consistently rounds them off. Also won’t give himself enough room on the sidelines on deep go routes. Doesn’t get separation on deep routes. Consistently below-average ability to track over inside shoulder – will run with hands out as if he cannot judge the ball’s trajectory.

Projection: Round 7.
