Zach Vraa, WR, North Dakota State-FCS – 2015

Positives: Good height and above-average bulk for the position. Runs with above-average speed. Runs adequate routes, and is fairly quick out of his breaks – gets some separation on deep routes. Fairly nimble on sidelines. Is able to extend or make tough catches occasionally. Above-average body control, and adjusts very well to off-target passes. Shows very good effort on off-target passes – will lay himself out and go to the ground for them. Fair concentration in traffic. Not easy to bring down after the catch. Holds the ball with a big hit.

Negatives: Broke both collarbones in 2011. Inconsistent hands and concentration – though he will make some difficult catches, he will drop some easy ones. Though his routes are okay, he will sometimes cuts them short of the first-down marker. Suspect game IQ, and needs to know when to get out of bounds. Below-average acceleration after the catch. Mistimes his jumps at times.

Projection: UDFA.
