Larry Pettis, TE, Louisiana-Lafayette – 2015

Positives: Generally above-average hands and can extend for passes away from his frame. Turns upfield fairly quickly after the catch to get extra yards. Fair hand-eye coordination and body control and can catch passes while sliding. Pretty solid run blocker when he can just plow ahead.

Negatives: Slightly below-average height and bulk for the position. Below-average lateral quickness, and will lunge at defenders and miss when he has to slide as a blocker. At times, he will double-clutch or let passes get to his body. A little tight in his routes, and will round some of them off. Suspect pass blocker who seems to have trouble deciding who to block.

Projection: UDFA.
