Kevin Vaadeland, TE, North Dakota State-FCS – 2015

Positives: Okay concentration in traffic. Is used heavily in the red zone, and caught a lot of touchdowns that way. Finishes strong after the catch and will lower his shoulder through defenders. Fair routes and is pretty crisp on his in route.

Negatives: Generally below-average hands – body catches and has trouble extending and drops easy passes. Generally poor run blocker –consistently lunges and misses or overruns the defender he is trying to block. Gets pulled off his feet by defenders consistently. Will jump for passes for no reason, losing ability to get yards after the catch. Below-average balance making cuts. Needs to look back to quarterback on routes.

Projection: UDFA.
