WR Marvin Jones, California

Bengals, 5th round. Cal.: Average size. Great hand size. Late addition to Senior Bowl roster.

Positives: Sets up defenders well on routes using quickness and physicality. Quick into breaks. Above-average speed and change-of-direction skills. Good downfield blocker. Fair vision and quickness after catch. Reliable punt returner hands. OK routes and good effort on errant passes. Dangerous after the catch — reads blocks well and sets up blockers. Strong upper body.

Negatives: Ball gets to body too often.

Projection: Is a very polished WR who could put up WR2 numbers fairly immediately across from AJ Green. However, the team also drafted Mohammad Sanu at WR in the 3rd round. Both WRs are well worth drafting. I had Jones ranked ahead of Sanu, so I think Jones could come out ahead. High WR2 upside with 2012 WR4 numbers likely.
