Giants, 2nd round. LSU: Junior who has declared for 2012 draft. Good size. Above-average hand size.

Positives: Adequate hands and concentration. Above-average speed, but very good for the size. Good balance after contact. Adequate upper-body strength.

Negatives: Doesn’t come out of a sophisticated passing offense, so may take time to develop. Below-average acceleration. Has difficulty getting in and out of breaks. Not very subtle in routes and needs work running under more control.

Projection: Coming out of poor passing attack, it’s hard to be sure what his potential is. Could produce like Demaryius Thomas in a year or so. With Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks also on the team, he probably won’t get too many chances right away. Draft as 2012 WR4 with eventual WR1 potential.
