WR Patrick Edwards, Houston

Lions, UDFA. Houston: Small size. Below-average hand size.

Positives: Above-average speed. Nice routes and gets in and out of breaks cleanly. Tracks passes well over shoulder. Generally reliable hands. Good deep separation. Good effort for errant passes.

Negatives: Concentration lapses at times. Hurt hamstring in Senior Bowl practices and didn’t play in game. Broke leg early in college career.

Projection: Has the talent to be a solid slot WR and put up WR3 numbers in the NFL, but is stuck deep on the WR depth chart in Detroit, where he’s probably the third option in the slot behind Titus Young and Ryan Broyles. Not fantasy relevant unless he goes to a team that’s thin at slot WR.
