WR Rishard Matthews, Nevada

Dolphins, 7th round. Nev.: Average size. Above-average hand size.

Positives: Adequate tracking skills over inside shoulder. Runs fairly crisp routes. Strong upper body. Adequate speed, quickness and change-of-direction skills.

Negatives: Doesn’t play very fast. Sprained knee late in 2011.

Projection: Is on a WR depth chart that is crowded, but mediocre. On most teams, he’s be destined for the practice squad, but may make Dolphins and be a part-time contributor.

RB Derrick Coleman, UCLA

Vikings, UDFA. UCLA: Good height and solid bulk. Above-average hand size.

Positives: Adequate speed. Long wingspan. Hard runner with good stiffarm. Fair balance. Runs low to the ground. Average upper-body strength.

Negatives: Below-average change-of-direction skills.

Projection: Probably their 6th RB, and not expected to make the team.

FB Joe Suhey, Penn State

Son of former Bears FB Matt Suhey.

Positives: Soft hands. Average speed. Good pass blocker and run blocker.

Negatives: Wasn’t a starter — was backup to Mike Zordich.

Projection: Undrafted, but may get into a camp. Not likely to stick on a team, though.

FB Mike Zordich, Penn State

Son of former Jets/Eagles safety Mike Zordich.

Positives: Good leverage as pass blocker. Gets low in short-yardage situations to push for yards. Often used in short-yardage situations and as receiver — makes him a nice West Coast offense fit. Adequate hands.

Negatives: Sometimes lunges as run blocker. Below-average speed.

Projection: One of the few potentially draftable FBs in 2012, but likely to go undrafted due to the lack of FBs used in the NFL. If he goes to a West Coast team like the Eagles, should make the roster. Low fantasy potential in that case.

TE Kyle Adams, Purdue

Bears, UDFA. Purdue: Average size. Good routes and concentration in traffic. Can snag passes away from body. Big hands. Strong blocking skills, but seals off rather than driving defenders back. Poor decisions — missed opportunity to go out of bounds and stop clock at Shrine Game.

TE Lee Smith, Marshall

Patriots, Round 5. Marshall: Short for the position, but good bulk. Late add to Senior Bowl. Solid hands. Below-average speed. Will compete with Crumpler for TE3 spot but is probably only a camp body. Could go elsewhere as practice squad player. Outside of injuries, not really likely to be ever fantasy relevant.

TE/FB Ryan Taylor, North Carolina

Packers, 7th round. N.C.: Experienced receiver with above-average hands. Can take a hit. And has some YAC potential. Solid run blocker. FB size, but played more of an H-back position at N.C. Gives great effort and fights for yards. In NFLPA Game. With team’s stacked TE position, not likely to stick there. Could contribute on right team or could be effective FB for Packers or a West Coast system.

TE Preston Dial, Alabama

Lions, UDFA. Ala.: H-back size. Good speed. Adjusts well to back-shoulder throws and has big, soft hands. Solid pass blocker, though loses a little leverage blocking inline. Played in Senior Bowl. Dolphins, Panthers, Packers, Texans, Chiefs, Cowboys, 49ers and Seahawks have shown interest. Will be team’s TE3 right away.

WR Dane Sanzenbacher, Ohio State

Bears, UDFA. Ohio St.: Below-average size. Above-average quickness. Average speed. Adjusts well to underthrown ball — great concentration. Moves well after catch with good vision and reaction. Ball sometimes gets through to body. Midweek add to Senior Bowl roster. In great position to contribute right away on poor WR chart. Was working with first team at times in camp.

WR Darvin Adams, Auburn

Panthers, UDFA. Auburn: Good size. Strong and holds ball when hit. Smooth runner with above-average speed. Crisp routes. As returner, makes smart decisions and isn’t afraid to get hit. Good hands and concentration at times, though he looked a little contact-shy as WR after big hit in SEC Championship game and also dropped easy passes in BCS Championship and Combine. Junior who has declared for 2011 draft.
