WR Ricardo Lockette, Fort Valley State

Seahawks, UDFA. Ft. Valley St.: Good size. Elite speed. Explosive. Very good upper-body strength. Good body control. Hits creases quickly as KR. Below-average hands — dropped 2 early in NFLPA Game but bounced back later in the game. Below-average quickness, and looks like he has a little trouble running precise routes and getting separation. Played in HBCU Bowl Game. Worked out for Dolphins.

WR Tori Gurley, South Carolina

Packers, UDFA. S. Car.: Excellent height, but a little slim. Very good speed for the size. Strong lower body and is hard to bring down. At NFL Combine, showed good hands and goes up to snag passes. Nice tracking. Ran well and under control, but wasn’t quick out of breaks. Below-average upper-body strength. Looked fairly clumsy when making cuts. R. Soph. who has declared for 2011 draft. Has crowded depth chart ahead of him, but should stick as WR5.

RB Dion Lewis, Pitt

Eagles, 5th round. Pitt.: R. Soph. who has declared for the 2011 draft. Very short, but solid bulk. Average speed, quickness and explosiveness. Below-average upper-body strength. Very effective spin move. Good balance. Very quick cuts. Fair receiver. At NFL Combine. Won’t start on team with McCoy, but could contribute as 3rd-down guy. Not ever a fantasy starter, but has RB4 upside.

RB Evan Royster, Penn State

Redskins, 6th round. Penn St.: Above-average height, below-average bulk. Strong. Hard to bring down. Fights hard for extra yardage. Protects ball well. Willing and able blocker. Fair hands as receiver. Good vision and cutback skills. Above-average quickness. Always seems to be heading downfield. Non-flashy workhorse-type RB. Below-average speed, quickness, burst and seems to lack decisiveness. At NFL Combine. Fits Redskins running philosophy well, but will be competing with several young RBs on team. May not even make roster, but could contribute to some team eventually. Not much fantasy upside, though.

RB Jordan Todman, Connecticut

Chargers, 6th round. Conn.: Below-average size. Junior who has declared for 2011 draft. Very good straight-line track speed that doesn’t seem to translate to game speed. Poor quickness and change of direction. Strong upper body. Fair burst and has quick feet to pick through hole. Patient. OK hands, but has trouble tracking over shoulder. Keeps low and should have leverage in short yardage. Breaks arm tackles. Protects ball through line. Slashing runner. Never fumbled in college. Not a natural looking receiver. At NFL Combine. Will compete with Tolbert for backup RB position if the team resigns Tolbert. Should lose out that battle but stick as team’s RB3. Limited fantasy upside even as starter.

RB Allen Bradford, USC

Buccaneers, 6th round. S. Cal.: Average RB height, but FB bulk, and played some FB at USC. Hard to bring down, and sometimes even appears to seek out contact downfield. Nice stiff-arm. Strong upper body. Good balance and strength. Fairly fast and quick for his size. Always heading downfield. Almost entirely a N-S runner. Poor receiver. Some fumbling issues. Very similar style to LeGarrette Blount and likely to be his backup and fill in at FB as well. Limited fantasy upside unless he become’s team’s goal-line back.

QB Nathan Enderle, Idaho

Bears, Round 5. Idaho: Very good size. Good touch and fair mechanics. Generally accurate. Good touch on intermediate and short throws. Adequate arm strength. During season, needed a lot of work on footwork, but looked fairly consistent in dropbacks at Combine. Streaky — started slowly at 2009 bowl game, but got super-hot in 2nd half, when he became Mr. Clutch. A little late on decisions and tends to hold the ball too long. Poor velocity on throws, speed, quickness, and explosiveness. Slow and lumbering. With all his size, still had batted pass in Shrine Game. Was also in NFLPA Game. Needs a lot of Martz’s coaching and is never likely to be a starter.

QB Patrick Devlin, Delaware

Dolphins, UDFA. Del.: Good size. Goes through progressions and is very patient. OK setup in pocket and stands tall. Buys extra time in pocket by moving around well. Average speed, quickness, arm and accuracy. Originally transferred from Penn St. Bit of a statue. Passes tend to wobble. Double-clutches ball. A little slow on decisions. Ran a mostly shotgun offense and had major difficulty learning how to work under center during Shrine Game practices. Had very poor pro day, reportedly. Jets and Bengals have shown interest. Could make team as QB3, but has little NFL future, I think.

QB Terrelle Pryor, Ohio State

Raiders, 3rd Round Supplemental. Ohio St.: Jr. Great size. Runs pro offense. Good runner with shifty feet, though not quick change of direction. Stares down receivers. Suspect ball security. Below-average accuracy. Moves well in pocket and keeps eyes downfield. Slightly inaccurate at all levels. Throws off back foot too often. Makes bad decisions on run. Very careless with ball on run. Suspended for first 5 games of 2011 due to some NCAA violation.

QB Taylor Potts, Texas Tech

Rams, UDFA. Tex. Tech: Very good size. Spread offense QB with streaky accuracy. Good touch and timing, and leads receivers well. Patient finding open receivers, and is especially strong at finding outside receivers. Fairly accurate throwing deep. Won Manning camp skills competition in 2010 summer. Average speed and quickness. Misses some open reads. Below-average mechanics. 3/4 release. Long windup. Needs help with footwork as passer. Worked out for Patriots.
