RB Stanley Havili, USC

Eagles, 7th round. S. Cal.: Great size. Fair vision, balance and speed. Experienced receiver with soft hands. Not very quick out of breaks. Has shoulder injury that kept him from pro day. Could compete at FB position or RB3 position, but isn’t likely to have much impact except as a short-yardage back.

RB John Clay, Wisconsin

Steelers, UDFA. Wis.: Great size. Strong upper body. Above-average balance. Protects ball well. Very good effort. His game’s not about deception — pure N-S runner. Slow and may have to switch to FB in pros because of it. Lacks stamina — noticeably slower after several Combine drills. Kind of nimble feet, but a little unbalanced — fell during Combine drills. Similar to former Wisconsin RB PJ Hill. Junior who has declared for the 2011 draft. Packers have shown interest. Questionable future on Steelers. May stick as FB or 3rd RB.

WR Ronald Johnson, USC

49ers, 6th round. S. Cal.: Slightly below-average size. Average upper-body strength and speed. Also a KR/PR but relies too much on lateral movement rather that heading upfield with it. Fair hands with pretty good concentration. Didn’t appear very fast or explosive either in Senior Bowl practices or game. Very quick. Also an undisciplined runner after the catch. Fair blocker. Also needs work on routes. At NFL Combine. Could compete with Kyle Williams for slot WR position, but is likely to be backup. Slightly injured hamstring in training camp. Not much fantasy potential here.

WR Jeff Maehl, Oregon

Texans, UDFA. Ore.: Average size. Excellent quickness. Good hands. Average speed. Also plays on punt team. Reportedly slipped a few times at pro day making cuts. Very weak upper body.

WR Stephen Burton, West Texas A&M

Vikings, 7th round. W. Tex. A&M: Average height, but good bulk. Good speed. Average quickness and upper-body strength. In NFLPA Game. At NFL Combine, showed very good tracking. Quick hands that can snag passes. Goes to team with shaky WR situation due to FA, so could easily stick on roster. Not likely to ever be more than fantasy WR5

WR Greg Salas, Hawaii

Rams, 4th round. Hi.: Good size. Good quickness and explosiveness. Not easy to bring down. Fights for ball in traffic — goes up for it. A little stiff as a route runner. Inconsistent hands — can snag passes as long as they’re not too fast. Came back to help out QB under pressure. Makes good PR decisions, though fumbled ball as PR. Below-average upper-body strength. Played in Senior Bowl. Possession receiver who is also a PR. Will compete with several young WRs on team and may get lost in the shuffle. May not even make roster except as PR. Limited fantasy upside.

TE Brad Taylor, Baylor

Chargers, UDFA. Baylor: Converted QB. Short for the position, with H-back bulk. H-back speed. Good hands. Smaller size and weak upper body will limit him as a blocker. In Eastham Energy Game.

TE Brent Brackett, Penn State

Dolphins, UDFA. Penn. St.: Average size. Very strong. Willing blocker. Above-average track speed, but it doesn’t show during games. Is slow to get up to speed off line. Fairly athletic and can snag passes away from body. Nice adjustments to passes. In Eastham Energy Game. Very positive efforts off the field. Worked out for 49ers. Jaguars and Dolphins have shown interest.

TE Andre Smith, Virginia Tech

Bears, UDFA. Va. Tech.: Good size for the position. Very solid pass blocker. Below-average speed. Average hands. Good effort. In NFLPA Game. Worked out for Rams, Broncos and Dolphins. Bears and Cardinals have shown interest.

TE Mike McNeill, Nebraska

Colts, UDFA. Neb.: Short for the position, with H-back bulk. Good speed. Tough after catch. Gives good effort and has excellent body control and sideline awareness. Runs good routes. Inconsistent hands and concentration, though they looked pretty bad at times in Senior Bowl practices, and he let one through his hands for INT in Senior Bowl game. Worked out for Rams.
