Trevor Davis, WR/KR/PR, California – 2016

Packers, Round 5.

Postseason events: NFL Combine.

Positives: Was a redshirt senior, so he doesn’t lack experience. Above-average height and hand size for the position. Runs with adequate speed. Has good, quick hands and extends well on quick-hitting patterns, not getting cornerbacks a chance to react to his catching motion. Looks passes into his hands. Adjusts pretty well to passes thrown behind him on the move. Tracks well over his head and over his outside shoulder. Shows some patience on punt returns and in the open field after receptions. Above-average vision after the catch. Gets himself into adequate position on kick returns. Smart fair catch decisions on punts. Above-average track speed for the position. Above-average vertical leap and lower-body explosiveness in Combine drills.

Negatives: Below-average bulk for the position, with a slim build. Runs with long strides and has a hard time changing directions quickly. Below-average upper-body strength. Head injury in October 2014 and missed unknown amount of time.

Pre-Draft Projection: Round 6.
