Andy Jones, WR/KR/DB, Jacksonville-FCS – 2016

Postseason events: Tropic Bowl and College Gridiron Showcase.

Positives: Above-average height and bulk for the position. Runs with above-average game speed and adequate track speed for his size. Above-average hands and concentration – while he doesn’t always come down with the harder contested passes, he can extend well in traffic and make one-handed catches. Is able to field kicks at full extension on the run. Generally smart decisions as a kick returner, and is willing to take a knee in the end zone for a touchback. Good vertical leap. Above-average broad jump during pro day. Versatile, and also worked out at safety during his pro day.

Negatives: Inconsistent decisiveness on kick returns and will sometimes run into his own blockers. Below-average ball security. Will also let passes get to his body at times. Below-average quickness side to side and when accelerating out of cuts during pro day measurements.

Projection: Undrafted free agent.
