Macgarrett Kings, Jr., WR/PR, Michigan State – 2016

Positives: Above-average hands and extends well. Above average concentration, and caught a tipped pass in 2013 and 2015 bowl games. Can hold the ball consistently with a big hit. Has good balance and gives effort for extra yards after contact. Runs like a running back after the catch. Fields difficult punts well on the move. Versatile and was sometimes used out of the backfield as well as his usual receiver role.

Negatives: Inconsistent routes – sometimes cuts his routes short of the first down, and isn’t exactly crisp in his breaks despite his quickness otherwise. Doesn’t consistently get himself in good position to fair catch punts, and will also make risky decisions – fielding punts inside the 10-yard line. Arrested in April 2014 for a DUI and was suspended from the team for that spring. Arrested for being drunk and disorderly in March 2015 and removed from team’s roster, but was reinstated for the whole season.

Projection: Undrafted free agent.
