Ralph Abernathy IV, WR/RB/KR, Tennessee – 2016

Transferred from Cincinnati in 2014.

Positives: Was a redshirt senior, so he doesn’t lack experience. Good speed and quickness. OK acceleration. Above-average hands. Quick feet and good stop-and-start ability. Fair concentration in traffic. More of a receiver than a runner. Good effort and balance after contact. Can pinball through traffic despite his small size. Versatile – was a running back who moved to wide receiver when he transferred to Tennessee.

Negatives: Small size. Below-average power and is usually easy to bring down one on one when a defender gets a hand on him. He loses his balance at times while making cuts and needs to stay more squared.

Projection: Undrafted free agent.
