Quayvon Hicks, FB, Georgia – 2016

Postseason Events: NFL Combine.

Positives: very good height for the position, with great bulk. Above-average hand size. Okay speed. Can drive defenders back when he blocks straight ahead. Fairly tenacious downfield blocker. Generally adequate run blocker. Is also an up back on the kick return team.

Negatives: Below-average hands in general, and has trouble adjusting. Below-average quickness. Though an adequate run blocker, he sometimes seems to have trouble locating the right defender to block. Gets knocked backed easily as a runner, and doesn’t run with as much power as he seems like he should. Consistently bad kick return decisions and will try to field the ball on a bounce or run into other kick returners. Had a knee operation in January 2016, and still wasn’t recovered by his pro day in March.

Projection: Undrafted free agent.
