Positives: Runs with good body lean. Patient in the backfield and has above-average burst to get through the hole quickly. Fairly quick feet and lateral movement to bounce from hole to hole. Above-average power and churns through contact. Generally above-average hands, and can extend. Willing to lower his shoulder into tacklers at the end of runs. Shows some agility and ability to twist his body to avoid tacklers. Above-average pass protector, who can use leverage and stop a defender in his tracks.

Negatives: Suspect ball security and will hold the ball in one hand going through the line. Doesn’t seem to get much yardage after contact, and tends to fall down, though his balance seem to have improved by his senior season. Sometimes hesitates and gets caught flat footed in the backfield.
