Andy Janovich, FB, Nebraska – 2016

Broncos, Round 6.

Postseason Events: NFL Combine.

Positives: Great height and good bulk for the position, with above-average hand size. Adequate game speed and track speed for the position. He keeps his balance pretty well in short-yardage situations and gives second effort for extra yards. Runs with high knees through the line. Nice jump cut at the line. Churns hard through tacklers. Above-average hands and can extend fairly well. Above-average run blocker who will keep his legs moving and push defenders back—or knock them back on impact. Adequate vertical leap and broad jump for the position. Excellent upper-body strength.

Negatives: Below-average ability to change directions with burst in Combine drills. Needs to keep his feet better while pass protecting instead of trying to cut defenders. Not a whole lot of agility and open-field vision. Below-average quickness into his breaks and has to dial it down a lot to change directions.

Pre-Draft Projection: Undrafted free agent.
