EJ Bibbs, FB/TE, Iowa State – 2015

Transferred from junior college in 2013.

Positives: Despite a slight lack of height, has adequate bulk for a tight end – but is well built for a fullback. Adequate speed for the position. Above-average lateral quickness. Has above-average hands, and can go up to catch passes at their highest point. Though his concentration on passes in games was inconsistent, it looked better in the gauntlet drill at the Combine. Can extend well for off-target passes – showing good hand-eye coordination. Good concentration on difficult passes. Fairly quick, and gets a lot of yards after the catch. Adequate upper-body strength.

Negatives: Short for a tight end. Inconsistent concentration, and sometimes takes his eye off the ball. Suspect decision-making after the catch, and needs to push the ball downfield near the first down marker. Not very explosive out of his cuts and doesn’t change directions quickly.

Projection: UDFA.
