CJ Uzomah, TE, Auburn – 2015

All-Star Games: Senior Bowl and Medal of Honor Bowl.

Positives: Good height and bulk for the position. Runs with above-average long speed. Good hand-eye coordination, and tracks passes very well over his outside shoulder. Is able to extend far from his frame occasionally to reel in off-target passes. Not easy to bring down after the catch. Is an adequate in-line run blocker.

Negatives: Below-average quickness into and out of his breaks, and tends to round off his routes. Needs to keep his feet, and looks like he will give up on plays. Below-average hands overall – while he can extend and make some tough catches, he tends to let passes get to his body. While adequate as a run blocker, he is not very strong at it, and he doesn’t work very hard to get into position as a run blocker.

Projection: Round 7.
