Zachary Zenner, RB, South Dakota State-FCS – 2015

All-Star Games: Shrine Game.

Positives: Very good height  and above-average bulk for the position. Is a one-cut-and-go runner who is decisive to the hole and has adequate burst. Above-average vision and patience. Usually seems to fall forward after contact. Showed up well in pass protection drills during Shrine Game practices. Adequate hand size. Showed some versatility and coach’s trust by being the team’s wildcat quarterback. Highly productive for three years in college – with over 2000 yards each season. Smart off the field, and has been accepted to med school.

Negatives: Seems to be easy to trip up, and should run with higher knees. Below-average lateral quickness and also doesn’t have much change-of-direction ability. Seems to have below-average acceleration off of the line and after the catch.

Projection: Round 7.
