Jalston Fowler, FB, Alabama – 2015

All-Star Games: Senior Bowl.

Positives: Adequate height and great bulk for the position. Great hand size. Runs with adequate speed for a fullback and for his size. Good power on inside runs and churns through contact. Has generally adequate hands, and will look passes into his hands. Is also an above-average run blocker who will latch on and drive defenders back.

Negatives: Tends to body catch and will bobble easy passes. Not very quick into or out of his breaks as a route runner but probably crisp enough for his position. A little slow to get going into his routes. Injured and had surgery on left knee in Sept 2012 and missed rest of season.

Projection: Round 6. Is the rare fullback who can be effective as a blocker, receiver, and runner. Will compete for one of the handful of fullback positions in the NFL and should make a roster.
