Jack Tabb, TE/LB, North Carolina – 2015

All-Star Games: Medal of Honor Bowl.

Positives: Versatile tight end who also played linebacker and special teams in college. Runs with adequate speed (borne out by his Pro Day track speed) and acceleration off the line. Very good, effortless hands and is able to extend and adjust well in traffic. Has enough concentration and body control to make catches while falling to the ground. Willing to go over the middle. Solid downfield blocker. Adequate lateral and directional quickness.

Negatives: H-back size. Below-average in-line run blocker – has poor upper-body strength and lacks strength at the point of attack. Is easy for defenders to knock off balance. Little bit of a long strider. Below-average concentration on tipped pass. Suspended two games in 2013 for team rule violation – then was suspended another half for fighting.

Projection: UDFA.
