Alonzo Russell, WR, Toledo – 2016

Postseason events: NFL Combine and NFLPA Bowl.

Positives: Great height and above-average bulk for the position. Adequate hand size. Generally above-average hands and body control and can extend and adjust well. Is pretty smooth in his breaks. Good effort for off-target passes. Can go up and get the ball. Tracks fairly well over his inside or outside shoulder. Is also an up back on the kick return team. Smart fair catch on kick returns. Adequate track speed for the position, but above-average for his size.

Negatives: Has a lanky build. Below-average ball security and fumbled in 2014 bowl game without much of a hit at all. Below-average acceleration, and is a little slow off the line and slow to get going after the catch. Very poor vertical leap and lower-body explosiveness in Combine drills. Poor ability to change directions with burst in Combine drills. Below-average upper-body strength. Suspended for first half of 2015 bowl game due to a targeting penalty.

Projection: Undrafted free agent.

Dom Williams, WR, Washington State – 2016

Postseason events: NFLPA Bowl.

Positives: Was a redshirt senior, so he doesn’t lack experience. Very good height and adequate bulk for the position. Though his hands looked deficient in the games I saw, he looked better in NFLPA Bowl practices, and was able to extend and highpoint a bit. Tracks passes pretty well over his inside shoulder. Protects the ball with both hands through traffic. Very good track speed for the position, and excellent for his size. Very good vertical leap. Above-average broad jump at his pro day measurements. Adequate lateral quickness at his pro day measurements.

Negatives: Shows below-average concentration on contested passes. Doesn’t bring in passes when a hit is coming. Below-average hands when he has to extend and he often lets the ball get to his body. Below-average ability to change directions during his pro day measurements. Tends to push off cornerbacks to get open on deep routes. Doesn’t get a lot of separation on his hitch routes.

Projection: Undrafted free agent.

Alex Erickson, WR/PR, Wisconsin – 2016

Positives: Was a redshirt senior, so he doesn’t lack experience. Adequate height and weight for the position. Runs with adequate game speed and track speed for the position. Generally adequate hands and can extend away from frame. Above-average concentration on contested passes and can hold onto the ball with a big hit. Not easy to bring down and churns well with multiple tacklers on him. Stays squared while making moves to prevent slipping. Reliable hands as a punt returner. Smart fair catch decisions in traffic. Above-average lateral quickness and ability to change directions with burst in his pro day measurements.

Negatives: Will occasionally body catch or let passes go through his hands when he extends. Maybe a little contact shy, and seemed to short-arm a pass over the middle in 2014 bowl game – resulting in an interception. Though his pro day testing shows he has the ability to be pretty quick changing directions, I didn’t see that coming through in games. Below-average vertical leap and broad jump at his pro day measurements.

Projection: Round 7.

Willie Quinn, WR/KR/PR, Southern-FCS – 2016

Positives: Runs with above-average speed and good burst, acceleration, and quickness. As a route runner, he is quick in and out of his breaks. Generally above-average hands, and can extend fairly well for passes away from his body. Shows good concentration on contested passes. Tracks well most over both shoulders. Above-average body control and can adjust well to off-target passes. Not easy to bring down in the open field due to his quickness and balance. Surprisingly good vertical leap for his size.

Negatives: Small size. Lets occasional passes get to his body. Runs east-west on kick returns too often.

Projection: Undrafted free agent.

Robby Anderson, WR/DB, Temple – 2016

Postseason events: Shrine Game.

Positives: Was a redshirt senior, so he is fairly experienced. Very good height for the position. Very good track speed, though only adequate game speed. Generally adequate hands and can extend low to snag fast passes. His lower-body is strong enough to break the first defender’s tackle. Nice concentration on slow passes when a hit is coming. Above-average vertical leap and broad jump at pro day. Versatile and also worked out as a defensive back at his pro day.

Negatives: Below-average bulk for the position, with a very slim build. Below-average hand size. Needs to complete his hitch routes instead of waiting for the ball get to him. Looks like he has some trouble in wet conditions and dropped a couple of passes in the 2015 bowl game. Below-average quickness side to side and when accelerating out of cuts in pro day measurements. Weak upper-body.

Projection: Undrafted free agent.

Von Pearson, WR, Tennessee – 2016

Positives: Adequate lateral movement and open-field vision. Has generally above-average hands and can extend for passes pretty well. Shows good concentration and hand/eye coordination and can adjust well to back-shoulder, tipped passes and passes thrown behind him.

Negatives: May have some trouble extending for fast passes. Runs pretty poor routes and rounds off his routes a lot. His legs also seem out of control and he is not very nimble on sidelines. Below-average change of direction ability. Runs off-balance after the catch. Not a very effective downfield blocker, and will try to cut block but miss. Accused of rape in April 2015 and suspended indefinitely from the team – charges eventually dropped due to lack of evidence. High ankle sprain in September 2014 and missed some time.

Projection: Undrafted free agent.

Projection: Undrafted free agent.
