Jhurell Pressley, RB, New Mexico – 2016

Vikings, UDFA.

Postseason Events: NFLPA Bowl.

Positives: Was a redshirt senior with me a lot of experience. Adequate height for the position. He is a very athletic running back who runs with very good track speed for the position. He runs with above-average game speed, lateral quickness, and burst, and has fairly quick feet. Agile in the open field. Shows some patience behind the line and will stretch runs outside at times when needed. Adequate vertical leap and broad jump at his Pro day. Showed good quickness side to side and when accelerating out of cuts at his Pro day measurements. Above-average upper body strength.

Negatives: Slightly below-average bulk for the position. Seems to lack cutback vision behind the line and be a little indecisive on outside runs – waiting too long before cutting it upfield. In short yardage situations, he needs to be more decisive and just plow straight ahead to get the necessary yards instead of trying to bounce runs outside. Holds the ball at little low going through the line.

Projection: Undrafted free agent.
