Jonathan Krause, WR/PR, Vanderbilt

UDFA. Signed as a UDFA by the Browns but was released in August. He has enough receiving ability and returner skills to make some roster or practice squad.

Positives: Above-average speed. Above-average hands catcher who can lay out and catch passes while he’s falling. Above-average downfield blocker. Good effort on off-target passes. Fairly reliable hands as punt returner and shows some patience as a returner. Good track speed. Above-average lower-body explosiveness in pro day drills.

Negatives: Slightly below-average height and bulk for the position. Doesn’t get set up quickly to field punts and makes consistently risky fielding decisions in traffic as a punt returner. Below-average concentration and drops passes when he knows a hit’s coming. Below-average upper-body strength.

Projection: No need to draft.
