Damian Copeland, WR, Louisville

UDFA. Was signed by Jaguars as UDFA but was waived in August. Has the talent to stick on a roster or practice squad, but not fantasy relevant.

Positives: Adequate hand size. Fair body control when adjusting to errant passes. Adequate track speed for the position. Strong enough to fight through contact and has effective stiff arm. Willing run blocker. Willing to go over the middle. Okay balance after contact. Fairly nimble on the sidelines. Tracks passes well over both of his shoulders. Very good vertical leap, lateral quickness, and ability to change directions in Combine drills.

Negatives: Slightly below-average height and bulk for the position. Inconsistent hands and will let passes get to his body. For his size, it would be helpful if he were faster. Out due to injury most of 2011. Runs a little bit off-balance. Below-average upper body strength.

Projection: Probably won’t ever be fantasy relevant. No need to draft.
