WR Da’Rick Rogers, Tennessee Tech

Junior who has declared for 2013 NFL Draft. Good size. Average hand size.

Positives: Excellent athleticism. Agile and has some YAC ability. Above-average speed and acceleration for the size. Adequate hands. Above-average routes — fairly quick into breaks. Above-average body control and adjusts to passes fairly well. Above-average vertical leap.

Negatives: Below-average upper-body strength. Needs to learn to help QB on scramble drill. Character red flag: Transferred from Tennessee in 2012 after being suspended for failing drug test and run-ins with staff.

Projection: Round 4. Is like the poor man’s Cordarrelle Patterson. Has the athleticism and route running to be able to get open fairly consistently in the NFL but needs to get stronger and stay clean. May not make an immediate impact but could eventually become a solid WR2 or WR3.
