QB Marshall Lobbestael, Washington State

Good size.

Positives: Has pro-style experience in high school, but operated spread offense in college. Adequate accuracy and velocity. Moves fairly well in the pocket and keeps eyes downfield. Nice touch. Pretty quick release. In Casino del Sol game, showed the ability to progress to secondary receiver, though he didn’t seem to do it in college.

Negatives: When throwing, doesn’t set feet consistently when given time. Often tended to read only one side of the field in school, eyeballing receivers. Hurt knee during sophomore year and had up-and-down junior and senior seasons, being backup but coming off bench to start games. Also arrested in 2009 for being a minor in possession of alcohol.

Projection: Undrafted, but likely to get an NFL tryout.
