RB David Wilson, Virginia Tech

Giants, 1st round. Va. Tech: Junior who has declared for 2012 draft. Below-average size. Average hand size.

Positives: Good balance after contact. Legs keep churning after contact. Excellent burst. Above-average speed. Adequate lateral movement. Fairly strong and effective in short yardage. Breaks through arm tackles. Physical. Lowers shoulders to gain extra yards. Fairly solid in pass protection. Usually falls forward for extra yards. Above-average hands and can track passes well over shoulder.

Negatives: Dances behind line on occasion.

Projection: He’s one of the few RBs I’d consider drafting in dynasty leagues. Has top-15 ability, and even though the Giants didn’t run very well in 2011, they may remember how to. He will be a great replacement for Ahmad Bradshaw eventually and could be a top-ten RB for years.
