Positives: Above-average run blocker who stays latched on. Above-average hands catcher. Fairly nimble after the catch.

Negatives: Comes from a small program and may not be ready for the NFL. Below-average speed.

Projection: Immediately becomes Jason Witten’s heir-apparent but will also find his way on the field a lot right away to give Tony Romo two solid intermediate targets. Should see some level of immediate success, but is probably a few years away from reaching his potential, which is probably as a top-10 TE. Draft as a long-term hold but with TE3 production right away.
