Centarius Donald, RB, Louisiana-Monroe – 2015

Positives: Runs with adequate speed and burst. Fair lateral quickness and is able to change directions behind the line to find an open lane. Runs with patience and good power once he gets going. Quick feet and is able to make slight angled adjustments as he moves. Though he doesn’t make big cuts quickly, he chooses good angles in the open field. Above-average hands. Above-average body control and can adjust to off-target passes. Above-average vision after the catch and is able to make yards after the catch.

Negatives: Needs to run with more decisiveness and burst in short-yardage situations, and also needs to learn to keep his legs churning through contact. Not a whole lot of lateral quickness in the open field. Seems to get caught by the legs a lot and may need to run with higher steps through the line. Below-average ball security when he’s fighting for extra yards. Has had three ACL tears in his college career.

Projection: UDFA.
